PODCASTS AND VIDEO ASSESSMENT OPTIONS

Assessment options include podcasts and videos. My reason for this is the observation that young people – including those most engaged academically – increasingly gain their knowledge of current events through these media. Students submitting these have been in the minority but have - in some cases, also done the best work. In one case in 2018, two students who submitted podcasts for assessment have now set up a regular publicly available podcast about young people discussing contemporary political issues – something which I am very pleased to have prompted.
